Courthouse Bar Head Chef

We are keen to appoint a Head Chef, to oversee the operation of our culinary operation. The Head Chef will be responsible for all aspects of the culinary function, from the organisation of the kitchen to the sourcing of suppliers to a creative menu design, to enhance the overall dining experience.

Working on a Full Time basis, Wednesday – Sunday (inclusive).

This role will involve;

  • The smooth operation of the culinary function
  • Management and rota scheduling of team
  • Menu planning and creativity
  • HACCP and Hygiene
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktakes
  • Supplier / Ingredient sourcing
  • Training
  • Health & Safety
  • Customer Satisfaction and Quality maintenance
  • Reactive to customer feedback
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in house / External training
  • Always adhere to our company policies and procedures, and Food Safety Legislation
  • Be involved and contribute to team meetings
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team
  • Forward thinking and planning

Specification

  • NVQ + in catering a Food Safety
  • 4 years+ served in a busy culinary environment with 2 years+ holding a similar role
  • Proven success of operating a successful kitchen with 5* Hygiene Rating
  • Understanding of Current Market Trends and adaptation into culinary operations
  • A full clean drivers licence may be considered advantageous
