Receptionist (Part-Time)

This successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high standard of professionalism and customer service when dealing with our customers and guests.

This is a part-time position working 16 hours per week. Working Monday 9am-1pm, Wednesday and Thursday 4pm-8pm and Sunday 9am-1pm. A degree of flexibility is required to adapt and change to cover holidays etc and dependent on business requirements. This role will report directly to Reception Supervisor and Head of Reception.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• To ensure accurate recording of all information in line with business requirements from booking a meal to accommodation.
• To ensure customer enquiries are dealt with efficiently and in a professional manner.
• Professionally answering all switchboard calls and dealing with them effectively or diverting to the appropriate department.
• Responding to e-mail queries and raising booking confirmations.
• Taking and Recording of accommodation and meal reservations accurately.
• Checking in / out guests efficiently and promptly.
• Follow up customer calls to confirm bookings / orders.
• Dealing with customer enquiries and liaising with relevant department / manager.
• Payment processing, cash handling.
• Checking of Invoices and Delivery documents.
• Word-processing and General administration duties.
• Liaise with Food Service and House-keeping staff.
• Keep Management abreast of accommodation activity.
• Deal effectively/ promptly to remedy any customer dissatisfaction and referring to the appropriate department as necessary.

Previous experience may be considered advantageous.
