Hours of Work: UP TO 16 HOURS, VARIABLE /FLEXIBLE
Purpose of Job:
This role involves a lot more that stacking shelves and operating a till. Our Retail Customer Advisor will become a trusted advisor to our customers and get the opportunity to meet a variety of customers, build up a rapport and assist them in their requirements. The main aim of our customer advisor will be provision of truly great Customer Service to serve and sell to our customers, as well as helping us to continually improve on the product/ service we offer.
Essential:
- No experience is necessary, as full training and knowledge advice is provided.
- We are looking for candidates who are “happy to help” our customers, friendly individuals who can strike up a conversation with our customers.
- Successful candidates will have an open mindset and positive attitude to deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, putting customers before task every time.
Main Duties:
- Serve our customers efficiently and brilliantly well – on the shop floor and at service points
- Deliver high standards through presentation in merchandise displays, innovation, availability and keeping the department clean and tidy
- Obtain and share customer feedback to help us improve
- Share knowledge, ideas and life experiences with colleagues to support others in building skill and confidence
- Awareness of company priorities, promotions & selling opportunities
- Build up a product knowledge and utilise this to sell and recommend our products and services
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations
- Complete designated tasks
- Minimise cost and waste through good process practice
