Responsible to: Senior Managers
Hours of Work: 30+ HOURS, VARIABLE /FLEXIBLE, on a rota basis 5 days out of 7, day shift, evening shift and weekends.
Purpose of Job:
This role involves a lot more that stacking shelves and operating a till. Our Off Sales supervisor will become a trusted advisor to our customers and get the opportunity to meet a variety of customers, build up a rapport and assist them in their requirements. The main aim of our Offsales Supervisor will be the provision of a smooth operation of the Offsales along with the provision of truly great Customer Service to serve and sell to our customers, as well as helping us to continually improve on the product/ service we offer.
Essential:
- Previous experience will be considered advantageous, full training and knowledge advice will also be provided.
- We are looking for candidates who are “happy to help” our customers, friendly individuals who can strike up a conversation with our customers.
- Successful candidates will have an open mindset and positive attitude to deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, putting customers before task every time.
Main Duties:
- Smooth operation of Off Sales.
- Serve our customers efficiently and brilliantly well – on the shop floor and at service points.
- Deliver high standards through presentation in merchandise displays, innovation, availability and keeping the department clean and tidy.
- Obtain and share customer feedback to help us improve.
- Share knowledge, ideas and life experiences with colleagues to support others in building skill and confidence.
- Awareness of company priorities, promotions & selling opportunities
- Build up a product knowledge and utilise this to sell and recommend our products and services.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and make recommendations.
- Complete designated tasks.
- Minimise cost and waste through good process practice.
- Staff supervision and training.
